School Visits

The Mosque runs guided tours for schools and local organisations. Many previous visiting schools and organisations have found such visits very educational and helpful. The Mosque constantly strives to build, maintain and strengthen its relationship with the whole community by having an open door to any individual, school or organisation that wishes to visit it.

Our Mosque is very popular and heavily booked for organised visits and guided tours. Thus it is part of our activity to receive school visits as Islam forms part of a World Religion taught in state schools as part of the National Religious Curriculum.

Students and Teacher who attend are given a tour of the whole Mosque premises, followed by a “Question & Answer” session. Some schools may bring their own work sheet of questions for their students to go through with our guide. Various simple leaflets and Islamic literature are presented to the students if and when the needs arise.

To arrange a tour for your school or organisation, please email: [email protected](also copying the email to [email protected]).

Please await a formal response from the Mosque before making formal arrangements for your visit.
